Nymph Fishing Class
Developing your skills as a nymph fisherman on the streams of central Pennsylvania is the best thing a trout fisherman can do to improve his or her catch rate. Included in this 5 hour class are casting techniques for nymphing, basic entomology and how it applies to fly selection. Leaders, rigging, weighting, the use of indicators as well as reading the water. April 4, April 18.. 9:00am - 2:00pm, meet at Flyfisher's Paradise at 8:300am. Class Fee $125.00.
This is a full day introductory class in fly fishing. It will introduce beginning to intermediate anglers to the basic elements for successful fly fishing. Included are casting techniques, nymph and dry fly tactics, leader design, knots, basic entomology and fly selection, reading water and more. Good fly presentation is the key to successful dry fly fishing. This intermediate to advanced class will focus on learning specialty casts and techniques to improve your fly presentation. Topics demonstrated and taught will include slack line casts, aerial mends and casts to give you a drag free drift. April 25, 1:30pm - 4:30pm. Meet at Flyfisher's Paradise fly shop. Class Fee $75.00.
